Iuse aNikon 2939 eyecupfrom B and H. It works pretty well. It ishalf round and does not interfere with viewing the LCD.

Ya, my left eye is my dominant eye,,,plus it's the only one I can see out of very well,,,,lol.:?

I never even thought of using my other eye. I just tried it and there's alot more room. Still, my other eye is so much more dominant if have to use it. Cal

Thanks for the ideas and links. Next time I'm at B&H we'll try the Canon & Nikon eyecups. Just what the doctor ordered!

WellI went to my local shop. They had the perfect eye cup for me. It's made by Promaster, and it's look's likethe exact same one that's sold on ebay for the Canon at the cost of $14.95. I only paid $8.49.:GAll you have to do is bend the metal tab's out just a little bit. It's a great fit. Cal

Between the Nik & Canon cups, I haven't found a better solution for the money (besides D.I.Y. obviously). If you prefer the Nikon cup for unobstructed LCD viewing, check out this simple but very effective mod to secure it (some folks have ended up losing it without a mod).
