These shots are sharp and just plain great. Birds in flight or just looking for a free meal like the one you took just looks awesome. Anyone know what that other bird is in the third picture? The shots look so natural like you there yourself.

Excellent pictures. Great colors and composition.
I can't help but be reminded of the movie "Finding Nemo" the caption for the first and second photos should be.

"Mine.... Mine.... Mine...."

If you didn't see the movie than this makes no sense whatsoever.

Nice photos none the less,
smac

Hi vIZnquest, the other bird in the third picture is called "Zarcillo".....is a typical seabird from the peruvian coast....those birdsare beautifulbut too shy....it is not easy to shoot them.....seagulls are definitively bolder.

Regards,

lol, actually I sawthat movie and I remembered clearly that funny scene.....as Iwrote inmy former post, in that place, those birds are quite bold and fearless.....they flightover your head and evenflap their wings near your face.......theyalsooften snatch fish from your hands.....Pelicans arewith no doubt kinder.
