Today I let my 12 year old take my FZ1 outside to see how she would do taking pictures. Here are two of them. I think she did a very good job.

These are ->GREAT<- pictures! The daughter like fathers. Love them both! The first one - talk about timing. The second is so well composed. Get her a log-on ID and a gallery, I see a budding young photographer!

Thank you all for your comments. I let her read the replies this morning and she was just beaming! (I was smiling too)

Are you kidding me? :?: She takes better pics than me! I must learn from her really! For me, maybe these type of clear shots, I need to take maybe 30 pics or so to get a good one. I can't imagine if you give her a digital SLR like D70, maybe she can start a school for newbies.

Well proud dad, be sure to encourage your daughter to keep snapping. Maybe you could get her a sd card just for her pics-or maybe her own fuzzie:-).

By the way how big is that bug?!? It seems that he can wrap his legs around that tree:O.

Happy :|,

Yeah.. the shots are great, but that bug is just freaking me out. Is it a grasshopper of some mutated kind? And were there more then one of them in the area. I generally don't mind bugs, but if that were to land on my shirt :shock:
