Terrific fireworks shots... but a 9c dip in the drink is a bit too cold for me. Brrrrrrrrrrr. Perish the thought. That'll shake off any remaining cobwebs from New Years Eve - that's for sure.

I only used the full manual mode for the shots; I always forget to use the scene modes on the camera :G(but also have a preference for the manual modes; I wouldn't like the cam to do things I don't have in mind).
Can't tell if that's the moon behind.. As far as I can remeber it was cloudy at midnight.
One can only get those beanie caps on the scene; So they're indeed part of the whole thing. For the running part; Some did run for their lives back to shore, but most took it just easy..After the dive, traditional dutch soupwas served, and boxed pieces of bread and sausages could be taken home. The whole thing is organised by a big foodcompany here (which name is ofcourse printed large caps; in fact it's just one big commercial for the company; but what a great one :G)
