I bought a gift for myself for Christmas as I had received cash from a few people for gifts. I love this camera! I'm still learning but this camera definitely has the capability of me not "outgrowing" it for a long time! Anyway, the pictures here inspired me to get this particular camera and once held in my hands I just couldn't say no. Here is a pic I took from approx. 31,000 feet on the way back to Atlanta from Arkansas. The cloud cover was thick but once we broke through, this was what it looked like til we landed. Mind you it was taken THROUGH the window in the jet!! Thanks for all the ideas, input, etc.

Welcome! Really nice pic! Especially considering it was taken outside of the window of a plane. Post more when you can.

Thanks alot guys. I really enjpy aviation so I'm sure I'll be posting more of aircraft and airshows soon.
