I just recieved my new FZ20 a few hours ago, and I can't wait to learn how to use it. I have no photo background, so alot of stuff in the useres guide was hard for me to keep up with. I hope You guy's don't get tired of me to quickly with all the questions I will have.

I'm a avid flats fisherman, andhunter. I'm exposed to great photo opportunities every day. Ive been wanting to get a good camera(and learn how to use it) for awhile. I'm waiting on a Raynox PLP-P20 MC Protector & Polarizer Filter Kit. Hopfully it will show up in a day or too. I need to find a 1G card.

I just wanted to let you know alittle about myself.

I got the PLP-P20 too. It is very good and if you got that, just concentrate of getting filters & lenses with only 52mm thread. As for 1GB card, I have too. I am using Kingmax platinum 60X SD card. It is very good and fast. So far I do not have any problems with the card.

Welcome on board!!!

I suggest to buy the UV filter as soon as possible and use it all the time (day or nigth) it really makes no effect on the picture but protects your great lens.

I found this quick and practical course for taking great shoots, it really helped me.

In your data I don't see where are you from, I hope you speak or read spanish.

Welcome onthespot, I just received my fz20 a couple weeks ago. Ive been having alot of fun with it and photography. Cant wait tell weather warms up not gettting out as much as id like too, but having a ball experimenting indoors with closeups/macro. I also use the kingmax sd card, the platinum edition is the one ya want if you like the speed i think its about the cheapest card out there, newegg is a great place to shop but theve been out lately i think it sells for about $80.00 1gb there.

Enjoy your new FZ!
