Cropped and unsharped in Paint Shop Pro. Comments and suggestions welcome...not really sure about this. How does it strike you?

Gotta blame the photographer! The original photo was framed without all of the cattail in it....I was thinking more about the water in the background than the cattails....which was a mistake considering the focal point is the cattails.

So much to learn!
Thanks for the comments

It is still a great shot, i personally like the depth of field chosen in this shot i think the blurred catails mixed with the sharp ones is a nice effect.

I also have alot to learn, i take alot of pics and my miss to hit ratio is very high, but thats whats nice about digital! Can take a ton of pics without having to pay for film and processing.Makes it nice for practicing. I am very new and am looking forward to progressing in this field.

keep the shots comming!

I think it's a good shot. It could have been better framing on the cat tails, but still a good shot.

But thats part of the fun of learning this stuff.

The dog is also a good shot. I like the angle and the framing.

Nice work...
