Would a polarising filter have helped

Finally one with colour.

I messed around with the colours on psp and it looks weird as if Amir has been added to the photo at a later date.

Ï like the last 2 pics most; For the middle one, I can't tell what would have made a better shot, but I like it this way pretty much too; those sillouettes, low in the water look quite good

Have you used a flash for the 3rd one? The exif info says 'reserverd' but that doesn't really make sense to me. If you use a fill flash, it can make the subject look'pasted into the background'. But it's a very nice shot anyway; Cool background

I like them all. I think a filter may have helped with the second one. For the third one, I think a larger aperture (smaller f number) would have brought the background out of focus and made the subject the center of attention. But thats just personal preference.

All good shots though...

I did use the flash for the third one asI had a quick look at the 1st photo I took andAmir looked very dark so I then tried with the flash (must have remembered reading that from somewhere on here)

Bob larger aperture and is a little beyond me at the moment and as the weather here has been really bad since before xmas then I am not getting much of a chance to try it out.

Will definitely get out for a bit today.

John

O'h the place in the colour shot is called Turunc on the Turkish coast and in the summer I work in the area.

John that sea landscape recalls me of Italian Costiera Amalfitana (Salerno), with Amalgfi, Positano (in front of Capri) ITALY.

I have lovely shots from last May 2004 with a Canon powershot A300.

I can't imagine what I'll be able to do next spring with a similar day and my new FZ20 !

I really like the second one, I think you can cropp it and use it as a header.
