Hi everyone.

This is a collection topic for bird photography.
Some advice @ posting. Pictures maximum width 1024 pixels.
Not everyone's blessed with a 21" screen

I'll start off with some pictures I made today.

Are man-made birdsallowed too? Haven't nailed any biobirds with my fz so far :G

KLM B777 climbingin front of a nice sunreflection spot (Parhelia); @ amterdam airport "Schiphol"

Highlights and shadows adjusted, slightly cropped (12x just wasn't enough), sharpened, noise reduced with a not-so-good program :G

Great idear for a thread... I think your first two pictures are a cut above... just amazing, photo-book quality shots. The rest are terrific too! I don't do birds, or most things that move too fast... :G But I really admire the great bird photographers on this site... including the "man-made" variety, GreenBaron...:G they're some of my favorite posts.

After all of the raptor pictures here is a non threatening Western Meadowlark posing for the camera. A fine feathered friend indeed.
