A few nice shots of the little guy, notice his horn bubs starting to erupt! He will live with his horns, after all he will be as horny as a goat! Could not get any running shots of him due to the ice, every one was walking carefully today.

srry to say this.. but these photo's seem to be taken with the camera from your mobile phone? unsharp, blurry and flat.

#3 such a sweety

As a tip: If your subject is behind a fence, there's a verybig chance that the cam wil focus on the fence; in these cases, it is usually better to use man. focus.

TimvdVelde,

Sonice of you to say things without possibly a hint in helping out with those shots.

I agree they look not near as good as what the camera can do. There are different levels of photographers here as well as those who are a wiz at post-processing and those who have yet to even use a program other than to download and possibly resize.

GnomonMaster,

Your third picture is the best of the lot. I will have to say thatthe little guylooks very soft or out of focus. Could be possible with the fence there it focused on that. I have that problem with birds in the tree where I get the branch infront of them in excellent focus but not the bird. Due to the lack of sunlightthat really shows as well. I am sure it is not that easy to focus on that bundle of energy you got there. Try spot focus on his eye where there is contrast. Also, try the burst mode and theauto bracket that takesthree differentexposures. I did see that two picture were taken in aperture mode and the other two were in P mode.

You can read about what I am saying on page 44 and 45 on your manual.

He is a cute little guy. I look forward to more pictures from you.

Tom

I have been enjoying these weekly updates. Guess it will be two weeks until the next one with your service duty next week. Gray light and moving animals make itdifficult to focus sharply also.:-)

Yes, I know the quality is fair to poor, but if we could just get a sunny day here it would make a world of difference. We have not had a sunny day for WEEKS now. The only reason to post these was to try and keep the weekly updates. I also have not yet explored the other settings for the camera you know the ones specific to various lighting conditions. Oh well, I'll be gone for a week starting monday and will have to miss the 5th week update. Thanks guys, see you around.

Don't let tim get you down. Some folks don't want to help.
