Mocking birds seem to have quite the attitude.

Oh, on second glance that's not a Mocking bir,but rather some ticked-off cousing.:lol:

Willow, that one rocks :-)

just don't get how you guys get that close to the birds without scaring them away; I have now tried a few times on some crows, but they're real whimps; nothing compared to the 'tough guy :G'

In my case the Mocking bird was not acting normal. It was dark and about 8:00pm when I heard the bird thunking around on the front porch. He was flying back and forth along the length of the porch bumping into the ceiling. I just took advantage of the fact he didn't want to leave the porch and didn't seem to care that I was 6 feet away. Totally abnormal behavior. I was lucky and in the right place at the right time.
