Having the head in primary focus seems very appropriate for this odd looking creature.

i'd be willing to bed the head is the other end... nature has a way of camouflaging critters like that to confuse predators... :-) gret pic, though!

Amazing shot, very comical, it looks like he is smiling to himself.

The only thing I would prefer is if the very end of his head was more in focus. But even then, it is only minor in my opinion, and you may have wanted it that way.

But regardless, great shot.

Oh, what camera did you use?

thanks for your great pic and the link.
I am actually browsing the last months POTD archives and there are many great shots (obviously) and some are with FZ10-20 (that's obvious too).
