It was built in 1894, the Honey Run Covered Bridge is the only 3-level covered bridge in the nation, and it's one of the few covered bridges left in California. It was damaged in 1965 and was scheduled to be torn down. The historical society held several fund raisers to save the bridge. I think they raised $7,000 to repair the bridge and have held an annual pancake breakfast at the bridge the 1st of June every year since.
