After all this drama (not that that's a bad thing) I decided to get back to why I joined this site. Posting pictures for constructive critique and my own enjoyment.

This is another view of the covered bridge near my house with a sepia-like filter applied. I like the effect it gives.

I suppose with the new Avatar I should throw in a few nyuk, nyuk, nyuks.

I will say that this is a winner with nothing to say in the manner of speaking that you need to do anything else with it.

Well my words were a bit wishy washy as I re-read it.

smac the picture as it is is very good. I like the sepia more than the black and white.

This looks like a real winner to me. In fact I have it in my picture collection folder. A keeper.

What gives it more life to the picture is the rafters in the river. Very kewl indeed.

Thanks Tom,

LOL that's what I thought you meant. I was just having fun with you.
For a brief moment I thought that maybe you had been drinking. Goodness knows that I've bumbled a sentence or two or three or.... Anyway thanks for the compliment I am honored to be in your collection folder.

All for now,
Steve

nice shot smac, i agree with viz the rafters add alot to this pic. I also like how the background slopes down to the right and becomes evenwith the start of right side of bridge. Hieght wise.

I don't know who the guys in the raft were. They had tied off the raft and were fishing a deep pocket of the creek. It was nice of them to be stationary so I could take my time composing the shot.
