I am again giving some time in creating something with my FZ10 pictures.

This is a Hawaiian fishook which is part of a necklace that I wear.

I blended it with an Ocean background.

I appreciate any thoughts or comments.

That looks nice Viznquest:-); what technique did you use to get the blended effect?

Hey vIZnquest, How do you think it would look if you resized the hook so it would look like it was laying under the water?

BTW That's a beutiful view. It would have been cool if you could have caught a boat going by or some couple swiming there or someone fishing. I'm no expert just giving MHO.

I did this with a freeware program, "PhotoFiltre." It is French with English translation. It does have a PDF tutorial that you can download as well. I find it easier to work with and not asdaunting a taskas PS. PS is excellent but the learning curve is more than what I am willing at this time to learn.

Here is the website if you care to give it a try.

Check out under tutorials, Artistic Blending.

Fox,

I will give that a try. Thanks for the comments. I just have time on my hands now and thought that working with some pictures that I took and do something like this would be fun and may get me to want to move into PS and PSP9.

Hi Vinzquest,

Have been meaning to comment on your new avatar-brings back memories of a wonderful vacation. So naturally I like your pic. What program did you use for this?

Happy :|,

Edit: I see that we must have been posting at the sametime so my question was answered-thanks
