I was going back over the pictues I have taken at the refuge and came across this one that I missed. The Eagle is just getting ready to land in the tree. Flaps down, as it were. It was pretty overcast that day so I did do a little post processing to bring out the highlights.

I have to say that I have taken about 25 pictures into Costco to enlarge and print over the last few days. I have been very pleasantly surprised by how well they came out. They looked pretty good on the computer screen. Even when I reduce quality for posting they looked good. But that was nothing compared to how they came out when printed to photo paper from a high quality processor. Man the colors pop and the clarity is amazing. Just thougth I share that FYI.

Sorry it's too big I will reduce and repost.

Thanks all,
I have to admit that I never really get tired of seeing them either. Those eyes are intense, no doubt about it.

All the best
