um I like my FZ1v2, but my comment is that I wouldn't 'dis the rest of the lot here with other FZ's. They are all great cameras with their inherent strengths and weaknesses as any camera does.

My Recipie

The mix of a good camera, a good understanding and use of the technical aspects, a good eye for capturing the moment, a good understanding and use of post-processing, and good amount of humble pie can make for a good photographer.

Comment on the picture:

Nice typical home in the city of San Francisco.

Framed a bit off though since the top left of the home is out of the picture.

Not liking the amount of sidewalk in the picture instead of the whole house.

Picture is sharp and clean and good color.

EDIT

Now I see the picture as it was first intended... Great picture..

Thanks Nick
Like I say FZ1's are great.
Here I used the old Leica trick contrasty lighting enhances sharpness.
Alot of value here in the 2.1m/p FZ1

Hey boyzo and Nick..........I think I'm gonna get a FZ 1 this week. I found some demos for $200 from an authorized Panasonic dealer. They're open box with 1 year/90 day Panasonic warranty. I kinda want one for the small size and the different sort of image in captures. My wife maybe using it so do you think it will work for her as a point shoot. I'm probably gonna use it quite a bit, but she needs a new camera
