...and leaving for the south. This is a blend out of a bracket, to reduce the size of the overexposed sunspot. saturation of upper layer increased for more blue sky. Critique on this one (and the others ofcourse) highly appreciated. I'me very new to blending.

Cheers! GB

Not you. I came across the same thing with my pictures linked here. I then decided to sign up and use:

http://photobucket.com/

Works fine so far and I at least have an alternative. It automatically resizes the picture if over 250kb. I have been resizing with ifranview and resize 720x540 under the 250 kb limit to post here.

The resize of my regular file was a tad smaller that I would have liked.

Again it is free and has limited space but works fine as I mentioned earlier.

A shottook with my FZ20. Helicopter rides from the lake where Ilive. One day after the big storm. The day was pretty much overcast but this came out ok considering.

Allrighty than; seems a very handy solution; thanks

So, here they are:

highlights increased, midtones reduced slightly

The snow itself; cropped to get about the same area as the above picture

...and the blended one. Comments on how to improve this are welcome
