I've had my FZ10 for about 2 months now and finally got an opportunity to photograph birds this week. Seemed that for a while the birds were just avoiding my yard all together. But they finally decided to visit so I thought I'd share these. The third one is my favorite.

I like the birds alot! The third picture is great.

But the pictures seem a bit oversharpened and overexposed. I also see a lot of jpeg artifacts. This could easily be undone by adjusting your post-processing.

I absolutely love these! Looks like a 35mm slr took them. Blurred foreground, blurred background, subject in sharp focus in the middle. The pic are a bit oversaturated, as TV points out, but I like this effect for these shots.

Thanks guys for taking a look at my photos. I appreciate the compliments and the suggestions. It was really a lot of fun to take a picture ofwildlife for a change. I've never had a camera with any manual features on it and I love having all these options. I can hardly wait to get a chance to take more photos. In the mean time, my five month old son will just have to endure more photos.

At least he usually humors me most of the time.

but sometimes I think he reaches his limit.:?
