Hi guys, thought id try some moon shots.

The first shot is 100% crop. Zero editing.

Shot with FZ20 @ 12x zoom and oly c-210 1.9 tele lens.

5.6 ap, 1/40 sec, 80 iso, spot metering, pict adj settings high


Critique, comments and ideaswelcome.

This last one is the most impressive.
Anyhoe great job with the add on tele.

Pasted in a larger image it could be a greater effect too, adjustin g the tones as to make a pic shot during a solar eclipse

the first one seems a touch too bright... maybe turn the brightness down just a bit in PS, or shoot it with a faster shutter, like 1/125 or 1/160. i really like the sepia-tone treatement in #3... looks like something from a sci-fi movie!!

The first picture is overexposed, but what impresses me about it is the level of detail. You really can make out the craters and the valleys despite the brightness. Wow. I have a C-210 too, but I haven't fooled with it much. This is encouraging.

heres another shot same time and place thats not over exposed, the color just looked a little funny to me, it still has decent detail i think.

Great detail in your picts!!! I have been trying to get something like that without tele lens. No success for the moment, I'll keep trying.

Excellent shots. It's imposible I get some photos like these. I only get one white point :sad::sad:. I'm worried about this.
