Hi!
I'm on a very tight budget.
I wanted a camera to replace my Olympus D-460Z.
I was considering the FZ3 because of:
3 mpix (enough for the size of my prints)
12x zoom and F2.8 all the way thru the zoom range.
Af assist
Movies with sound.
Is there a better camera? i'm buying it with a high speed 256mb card and a spare battery.
Is there any place where i can get the cheapest prices?
thanks in advance

What do you call cheap... I have seen FZ20s go for $489.00

yeah, but, for example, in buydig.com the FZ3 goes down to 324 dollars.
Is the sandisk SD 512mb ULTRA II card fast enough for the burst mode of the camera?

you can get an FZ10 for well under $400 if you shop around. if it was me, i'd scrimp up the extra $50 and get the 10... it'll use the same SD card and battery, and get you another full megapixel's resolution, which might come in handy in the future...
