Your pictures really encourage me to pick up my dcr-250. I didn't know what to shoot with lens to get a nice picture. But your pictures are a solution to my problem Awesome backgrounds.

Tim try taking a photo of everything. With the dcr-250 at full zoom everything becomes so abstract and interesting.

Treemonkey,

That picture was amazing. I remember seeing something like that in a professional photography book and it wasn't nearly as good as this one. Was the picture composed using a single shot? I hear some people use the same pictures with focus slightly shifted and blend them to increase DOF.

ps: Just bought a raynox 250 from eBay. If I can have half your success in my future macro shots, I'll be in heaven.

leoesu, this is all one shot none of this cutting and pasting deal. I draw the line at merging photos. I wasnt at full zoom for this photo so DOF wasnt too bad, at full zoom however it is another story! You will love the dcr-250, it may take a while to get the hang of it though, it is one powerful little lens.
