A fairly famous photographer was shooting a model at sunset, his name is Calvin Hall, he has a book, "Northern Lights" on pics of the Aurora Borealis and other books, I believe. He was shooting with a 20D and a 500mm lens and his shots had the sun directly behind the girl. Here is my take on it:

I don't recall you ever posting a shot here, Nancy, before your Hawaii trip. This is absolutely fantastic. Just stunning. I think my next investment will not be in equipment but some books by photographers. Mind sharing exif?

Right click on the file with mouse and select > properties then
summary > advanced.
