jer1ivp,

Whoda figured that sunset could be done in b&w?

As the wise Inuit said in Never Cry Wolf..."Gooooood ideaaaa"

Your vision is great...you must have some Ansel Adams DNA in you! :-)

I prefer the color. What is causing the vignetting in the lower left corner?
fmoore I have found that I am resting my hand on the lens hood on that side and pushing it into range of the photo. Rookie error.

Thanks Digcamfan.

I prefer the original version too...The B&W is good too but sunsets are always so awe inspiring for the colors it brings out. IMHO those colors are what make sunsets so special.

I don't know if I am disproving my above theory...lol...because i converted a sunset of mine to B&W and it actually brings out more within the picture. I guess in this example of mine I prefer the B&W, I guess my rule from now on is that I prefer color but B&W can be really nice as well.

Any opinions are welcome

This is the original
