I had the opportunity to go to a Kings game on Tuesday with my daughter. She scored tickets at her work. All I had to do was drive an hour and a half and pay for everything. In otherwords, be a Dad. It was a blast we had a great time. I took over 150 pictures, everything from the pre-game shoot around to the actual game, in hopes that at least a few would come out. I wasn't disappointed. I was able to savage about 25 that were decent. Here are a couple.

#1 Cuttino Mobley at Shoot Around before the game.

#3 This last shot was really overexposed but I was able to pull it back somewhat. It did have the sharpest focus of the moving players however.

Go Panasonic

The second is the best IMO, although I'd liked it more if Songila had tried to block that shot. My brother is a great NBA fan since about 15 years.

I myself would have liked to be there in the eighties and nineties, when there were Jordan & co.

My greatest fun was to see playing guys like the Sudanese Manute Bol, 7,7 if I am correct (2,35m tall). Undescribable, as was Spud Web on the other side of the coin.

But that was quite another age.

I was experimenting a lot. With over 150 shots I finally settled on shutter Priority of between 1/60 and 1/80. I think the iso was 200 for the first and second shots and 100 for the blown out picture. No flash, I was in the upper level about 150 feet from the close end of the court. I would have to look at the exif info to be sure.

Tough shooting indoors with action, but those bright NBA lights help. Good job smac. Must have been fun. EXIF shows #1-1/80, #2-1/40, #3-1/60.ISO like you said.
