Hi, nice photo,

I think it would be very constructive to all of us if when someone post a photo, to tell what lenses, zoom, filters were used, as well as distance to object. We would learn a lot more.

I'm new here, I can say this is a great forum learned much here for some days already, but It can be better is this kind of info is posted, in my opinion...

keep on the fantastic forum, and let's make it better, I'll try to do my share

Did you do any post processing to blur the background? Or is all of the back ground really far from the bird?? The reason I ask is, to me, the bird and the stump almost look too sharp for the rest of the photo. Looks added in to me. I'm not saying that's bad and it could be my monitor as reds, greens, and yellows almost look neon like to me. So the green background really pops out. Still looking for a new monitor but just wondering about what I'm seeing.

FZ20 f 5.2 ex 250with Lumix 1.5 teleconverter. Tried to tone down the seed a bit as it was somewhat over exposed and the background is 30 ft from the top of the cross tie (6 1/2 ft tall telephone pole).

Digcamfan, This picture was taken at around 10:30 in the morning froma room on the second floor of my house. It was just a lovely day and I was about to go out and play with the horses. I put the seed on the top of both cross ties (1/2 telephone polls) and my friend swooped down to gorge.
