This Jack Rabbit was just sitting there soaking up the sun. His eye would almost closed as he was dozing off. He did seem to care about me at all.

All the pictures were hand held. The Eagle shots were hand held while leaning against the car door. 'mazin indeed. I am dancin'.
Thanks Nick

That's amazingly close and focused.Uncropped? What is the closest distance you can focus on at full zoom? The fz20 and tcon17 (1.7x) can't focus closer than 17-18ft. This looks to be considerably closer than that. Quitea tele lens indeed. Looks like you're really enjoying it, too.

According to the literature that came with the lens when used with an FZ10 the minimum focus distance is 15ft. That's about were I was when I shot the photos of the rabbit.

And yes I am having a blast with this new lens.
Thanks,
smac

At 15 feet you should get better results with the Leica.

Not a slam just the truth. The Tc takes over where the leica zooms ends. Why not h take two non bird test pictures at 15 feet and compare the shots.
