Ther are many USB 2.0 cards available very inexpensively. I picked one up for under 10$ are year or so ago. Likewise USB 2.0 card readers are inexpensive; for 20-30$ you should be able to find both (assuming you have an available slot and can install the card).

I just googled for "USB 2.0 card" and found several for under 10$

I really like the reader I ordered direct from Crucial. Very compact, tucks in my camera bag and plugs into my laptop. They also provide a USB extension cable to reach around a case if you need to.
