Abstract from Epinion Review...

A wide-angle lens provides a lot of opportunities for handholding because its lowest safe shutter-speed for handholding is 1/30 second. The rule states that the shutter-speed must not be lower than the focal length of the lens. However,it is always better to use a sturdy tripod to prevent camera-shake.

The Raynox may just well become my default lens for everyday shooting. If I need tele capabilities, it comes off. The epinion review about sums it up. This lens turns the Lumix into a different camera. If you don't have WA, you're missing out. This is a very nicely done link about the capabilities of WA. It's not just for shooting buildings. It's for impact and effect.

Read this if you want to understanding the reason for WA. imo tele = nice to have, overrated. WA = must have, underrated.
