I came across this website link (in Japanese) that has sample pictures taken with an FZ20 and with the various teleconvertors, incl. the Pana, Tcon14/17, etc.

Hi harjTT

The test was too close to subject matter; the sweet focal length is never at the lens extremes. The test should have been conducted at 40 feet.

The test did not stay within the usable zoom range of each TC plus camera, you do not shoot, depending on the Telephotos, below 6x some is 8X. You do not shoot wide-angles above at most 2x. You do not zoom fish eyes that is why the call them fish eye. You publish each TC lenses photo side by side at the same (?X) setting.


The lighting was insufficient.

They are in no indication of adapter used and with or without rings.

There is no information about ISO, aperture and speed.

And yes, If a lens hood was used.

The only thing consistent with the test was camera to subject distance, I hope.



Now, if I had all that equipment I will give you something to look at.
