I see you all have been busy with your camera's since I posted last! It took me all
day just to look through all the fantastic shots you have posted.

In my travels I was able to catch a few night shots. I found that to be avery difficult
task for someone new to photography but I have plenty of time to learn.

This shot of the Big Dipper was not as clear as I would have liked, but it was the best
of all that I took that night.

The train carsbelow was sittingalong side the roadwith a street light shinning on it.

i like the train shot. i wish we had a busy railway around here, and some of those crazy huge american (or wherever you're from) trucks and engines. all the british ones look like model railways compared. an airport would be nice too... think i need to move house!

 That's as big as my cat! Love the train shot. Nice attempt on the first. Star shots are tough, I dare not attempt.

What's really cool about the Orion shot is that the camera, even with a relatively short exposure time, was able to pickup the color of the Red super giant Betelgeuse in the upper left corner. Betelgeuse is almost 430 lightyears from Earth and is so big that if it were placed were the sun is it would extend out past the orbit of Mars. I am impressed.
