Hi Everyone

can anyone tell me what is the biggest print size that one has printed out of the FZ 20 @ 5 MP fine quality?

the image size in PS shows me about 28 x 22 inches... Is it possible to print that big and get clear results??

The size depends on the DPI... when photoshop says its 28x22.. it's probably 600dpi or something. However. I have the fz10. and after some serious Post processing. (blowing it up 200% sharpening and noiseremoval) I ordered a 30x20 inch print. And from a distance (6 ft.) it's very acceptable.. But it also depends on the printservice.

To be honest im technically not very sound on the tech specs of pics. But from what i understand is it correct that i can get a print of 20x23 at 600dpi? And i know that pics need to be printed at atleast 200 DPI to be acceptable

I have seen some 13 X 19s that looked great.

Plus there are interpolation programs that can raise the size by 400%.

Genuine Fractuals is one of those programs but there are many people that have written actions for photoshop and PSP that are free and available.

I understand that a lot of photo printers will apply the enlargement for you.
