Hi,

Thought I would try something other than the macros. There is a travelator about 100m long that runs under part of Sydney so I tried playing with long exposures to get a cool effect. I had the camera on the hand rail
Comments?

F8, 1/2s, ISO 50.

Nice shot... and a "Travelator?" WOW -- that's awesome... So is it more like an escalator or a conveyor belt airport-type thing?

Very interesting though

I like the effect. You really get a strong sense of motion. Or time travel.
I also like that you can almost make out the symbols on the wall. But not quite. It really draws my eye to them and makes me wonder what they are.
Very interesting,

Thanks for the comments guys. Im glad that it has the desired effect of the illusion of movement. It isnt quite what I was expecting as there was a bit too much camera movement so it looks more like a double exposure around the lights. I will go back at some time and try it out with my tripod.
