Shooting fish, especially in a dirty pond was hard, the wouldn't pose correctly and focusing was almost impossible. I picked the brightest guy so that atleast he can stand out a bit...I guess the swirly waters are produced because my polarizer was cutting out the glare and showing how murky the water really was. It was a pretty bright day.

hope you guys like

I like the colors and the smokey effect in the water.
Cool shot.

Creative shot. Fish rarely are still so it must have been difficult to get.

Thanks for the input...jer you were right about fish not standing around for long. This guy seemed to like me though...he would keep coming back and check me out from time to time. I guess he was as fascinated with me as i was with him...lol. But you are right...i had dozens and dozens of shots just to get a couple that were clear enough to use. focussing is really tough with these critters...hehe

I like this shot! This fish happens to be a close personal friend of mine. His name is Joel.

Thanks nick, mag, peter and tim...for all your feedback. Tim this was my first real outing with this camera and so I was a bit hesistant to try fully manual operations. Although when i was having trouble with focusing I should have figured manual was the way to go. You can bet on it that next time around I will remember.

thanks, seth
