Interesting history of the castle to go with the shots. Is the grass really that green this time of year?

It sure is - it's green pretty much all year round - the grass and the ivy ! Last cutting for the lawn is usually about early November for us - then it's just too wet to get onto and grows fairly slowly anyway since it's cool. First cutting is when it quits raining long anough to dry a wee bit - when you can walk and only sink a couple of inches!

All outstanding pix except the first one: I hate when FZ20 renders that color (upper left corner) in the sky... just prefer it all washed out white.

Even with blue sky FZ20 struggles to get it as blue as it is without some PP.
But "nobody" is perfect .
