Not a good shot, but it's alittle different. I think it's kinda cool. Tell me what you think.

I think it's freakin' awesome! Very unusual, surreal. That his/her mouth is open adds to the strangeness and the fun. A happy accident. Nice capture.

My dad has a eagle nest at his ranch. You can walk to with in 30 yds of it. The nest is home to a nesting pair. I've been there twice with the FZ-20, and I still haven't got any good shots:sad:but I will keep on trying till I figure it out. Any suggestions are always welcomed.

Awesome pair of photos!

You may want to consider a tripod and a Raynox dcr2020 (maybe your birthday is near :-)).

But even with the raynox and a tripod, that does not diminish your first pic.

I close my eyes and I can hear that eagle's cry.

Man that first shot is great - the OOF tree forces attention one the bird.

A possible way to get more great pics would be to set up a photo blind at an optimum location near the nest site. Make sure you have a comfy field seat and sit & wait. You probably will find more subjects than the eagle.

Digcamfan- A tripod is next on my list. I just got a TCON-17 & Tcon-14. I will find myself single if I buy a lenes.

pschooley1- I have 3 camo ground blinds, but there in Ga. at our hunting camp, I need to drive up and pick one up.

I have a tape used for hunting cyotes, that plays the sounds of "Distressed Baby Rabbits" I've called up 8 Red tailed hawks at one time.I'm going to get set up in the dark in the ground blind, and set the tape player up under a brush pile, and see if I can't get the Eagles closer to me. I'll let you guy's know how I do. Here is a few hawks. Enjoy
