the dcr-250 has a 43mm thread so would need step downrings.I bought mine with the 52mm to 67mm raynox adapter (it seems that most places sell the lens with the adapter only). It's quite handy to snap on.

The dcr250 (+8 diopter)comes supplied with a spring loaded snap-on adapter that fits any diameter from 52mm to 67mm. So, yes, the 250 comes equiped to be used with the Phayee adapter. The Phayee adapter, being 62mm, will also readily accept the 62mm nikon 6t (+3 diopter) macro lens.
