I was experimenting with my polarizing filter, a circular 72mm one that I bought when I bought my FZ20. I had it mounted on the Phayee I bought later. What helped me use the polarizer was manual focus to adjust the filter; then I toyed with manual & auto focus for the final shots. This one was auto I believe.

Anyway this shot was my pick of the series, the filter really enhanced the sky color and brought out the subtle texture in the clouds.

f5.6 1/320 ASA 100

I just received a 62mm Hoya linear polarizer so now I will have to compare the two filters

Good shot there pschooley1. Looking forward to your comparison of linear and circular. I've got a raynox adapter on order, and would like to see 2 shots exactly the same using both types of polarizers. Cheers.....thekman.

Vey nice.

I would also be interested in a comparison of the two polarizer types.

Also I guessthe use of polarizer brings outmore noise in the blue sky (than without it, which turns in a noiseless but clear blue/white color)
