Of the pics I have made so far, I think this is my favorite. I love the shine on the petals - makes it look a bit like satin. (it's definitely a real flower though). Comments?

yep, it was a raynox. :-) Didn't really want to crop any more, and I didn't think the vignetting hurt the photo at all.

hmmm, thats why I've recentlybought a Nikon 4T (52mm) close-up lens, since vignette with the Raynox adapter is visible at even 4X (I guess)

I'd have taken your shot at 5X in order to reduce black corners....but thats me,

Anyway, I like your shot.....very detail

Very nice. The raynox has its drawbacks but it just produces interesting, surprising images. Weird, fun lens.

You are right, the satin look of the pedals is really nice. I like this shot very much.
Hmmm Purple and orange. Two beautiful colors together and two impossible words to rhyme. What a world.

Vignetting looks like an advantage to me, as far as this shot is concerned.

I think Vignetting can really add to an image like this sometimes, it concentrates the eye to the centre and removes harsh corners. I really like this photo, it looks surreal.
