Even though the bird in the first pic appearsslightly out of focus (focus wason thepine cone?), I like that one the best.

A well composed shot!


P.S. Good trick with the peanut butter 'bait' on the pine cone! I think I'll try it this weekend.

Thanks for the comment Dean. You were dead on about the focus on the pine cone. I'm surprised how shallow the DOF is at full zoom.

I like the first one. Something about the eye. Just got a C-210 and hope to try it on some bird pictures soon.

He will be fine Willow. The treewhere thecone is hung in is right beside a lake. Lots of different birds enjoy this treat.
