Hey raghu...nice shot. A bit too bland though, maybe needs higher contrast. Compositionally the ears being cut of hurts the shot too. I hope you don't think i am being too hard on you for criticising your shots. I figured thats why you post them, to get feedback. Plus thats how we all learned at one time or another

No problem, just go on! I am listening and learning. Will you believe if I told you the ear got cut when I depressed the shutter?!

Gotta have very steady hold of the cam if you take your subject tight in the frame at telezoom; there's more risk of something to fall outside the frame, due to shake. In that case it can be a safer option to give it some margin, and crop a little afterwards.
Looks like a tiny fellow, compared to other squirrles I've seen on the forum :|

Cheers! GB

you say the ear got cut of while depressing the shutter...

so that means.. this is only a resize? If this is the full picture (only resize) I think the quality of the picture is quite low.. IMO

Looks out of focus and the exposure seems off. This and your fly pic don't seem sharp. You need to work on camera settings and editing of your pics. Sorry.

While we're on the subject of squirrels, here are a couple recent shots. I like how the ears are lit from behind.NoPP, but pics have been resized for posting.

And here's one more that doesn't show the poor guy's privates. How embarrassing for him.
