My wife and I have been to Barcelona twice for a few days each time and loved it. Especially the Rambla and the museum with the colored fountain light show each evening (can't remember the name but it was great)... I love everything about the city (people, archetchure, weather) except the pickpockets and food (acquired taste I guess). But you can't have everything. How about some Gaudi photo's? (Park Guel or others)

Nice photo's by the way,

Jim

Hi Greyguy, I posted some Sagrada Familia photos recently. I'm happy you liked Barcelona and I suppose pickpockets are everywhere.:-).

I was born and I livein Barcelona... The colored fountain is the Montjuïc Fountain known as well as the Magic Fountain or the Carles Buigas (the engineer) Fountain. The museum is theMNAC (Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya) were you can visit the best Gothic Art collection of the world.

I'm sorry but I dont have magic fountain pictures... I just can post you adetail picture of the famous modernist dragon at The Guell Park (Gaud├*) made of "trencad├*s" (small broken pieces of ceramic wall tiles)...

Thanks to both of you for sharing your photo's which helped me rememeber the wonderful time my wife and I had in Barcelona. You have so many interesting and beautiful things to photograph. The colorful street scenes on the Ramblas (flowers, street performers and tourists) the pier at the end of the Ramblas, and of course the archetecture.

If your thinking about a vacation to the U.S. make sure you visit Seattle. It is also very beautiful (on a clear day).

Thank you for sharing that photo. Even though the image isn't perfect it brought back some fond memories. Make sure you share future photo's of Barcelona with us. We are traveling to New Zealand and cruise the South Sea Islands this spring with my FZ 3 and hope to have some memoriable memories and photo's to share.
