Or should I say Stargazering, seeing as that is the name of the flower. Suggestions on getting better images with the on-board flash would be very welcome. I backed off the flash -2/3 to try not blowing out the white, seems a little soft and underexposed to me. What do you think?

This looks pretty good to me as is, Brett. Maybe just a little more light could help. You might try a bounced slave stationed behind the flower. I've been fooling around some with flash and macro but really haven't mastered it as some here have. Treemonkey comes to mind.

I think this is an interesting shot. Did you try to auto adjust levels in PS? Might help but I think it's fine the way it is. It's a little subdued, which is nice, actually.

Fred and Nick,

thanks for the complements. I'll try it with some more light next time and maybe play with the levels a little bit. Its fun to play with just the same.

Nick, I don't have PS at home but did some level adjustments in PSP9.0, it did make it brighter, but I think I like the original better. Have a look.
