And another go at a nigh shot- this time tower bridge. I'm still finding taking shots a nigth difficult so any advise would be grateful.

Many thanks to Query - for his tip from the other day.

Slight noise on the first but it looks like a film shot that way.

Noise is not always a bad thing. I like both of these as well.

Does not look like you are struggling with night shots to me.

I was a bit suprised by the noise on the first one, but I thought it kind of gave it some character. I haven't taken any night pics for a while and today was the first time I've had to try and see how I can improve - you should see some of the others that I took tonight ..not pretty at all. There's so much to learn with this cam.

G'day Harj, hey fella I'd be really happy with them shots, like you I took a heap of photos but as always one or two come out better.

Guess you are using a tripod, and I did find that if I set the timer to either setting 2 sec or 10 sec and 'switched' off the anti shake thing, I was in better control.

Dunno if it will help you or not...just a thought.

Harj - I think there fantastic. Beautiful illumination and the quiet boats (barges) in the foreground of #2. Thanks for sharing your London. Joe

i really like the shot of the bridge..you did a great job of capturing the true lighting ..it's like i'm really there at night on a skiff waiting my turn to pass..into the night
