Nick...I think Fast Stone has some possibilities as a fast organizer. It does batch processes and has lanczo3 and Bspline resampling for resizing. It also saves in JP2k and can work with TIFF and RAW. I just came across today so I don't know that much about it. For free it might be a alternative to ACDsee and others.
