Is this the best Company ...I say yes.
This is the only Forum in the " Digital Cameras " that so many people 99.9 %
enjoy thier camera, very little complaints and are proud of what they capture enough to show others. Of course that must say
Panasonic is doing it right.

PECS = Pseudo-expert Camera Snobs.
Peeps = People (outdated slang term I need to drop, like yesterday)

I also noticed it had the MOST discussion of any forum on the site!

I have to say this site definitely helped me get away from other cameras I thought about purchasing that might have left me less satisfied.

So... THANKS STEVE!

And thanks to all of the GENUINE camera experts on here!!! I appreciate all the tips!

I have also noticed that there are a number of people on here who watch and learn and thenfinally come out of the shadows when their cameras have arrived. They seem to keep in the background while awaiting their new arrivals, absorbing as much information as they can and then are usually able to bring forth a pretty good effort when they display their first attempts.

It shows that FZ owners are generally aware that the camera is amongst, if not 'the' best in its class and they want to be able to get the best out of the camera instead of going auto all the way. Smart people!

Due to circumstances, I have had to put my FZ purchase off for the time being but am definitely enjoying seeing all the great presentations on this forum, also learning and picking up tips while I wait. Hopefully some of it will be absorbed and I can soon put my 'First Attempt' up too!

It's also fun to see @ the frontpage.

Most camera topics are

"canon ixis lock up"

"kyocera focus problem"

"hp dark spot on pictures"

"kodak issues"

and on.. and on..

And @ panasonic forum->

"great camera"

"pictures"

"i love this forum"

-----------

Pretty right ?

I switch back and forth between the two about 50/50 - same moniker. There are a few who do the same. This forum is a smaller pond than dpreview and as such has more of a neighborhood feel. Things move a little slower here; not quite so hectic. Much of the information I am able to disseminate here came from dpreview either directly or as a result of purchases made on recommendationsdiscussed there. I find the disussions there a little more cutting edge. The ability to post shots without having them hosted elsewhere on the netisan advantage tosteve's forumespecially for newbies unfamiliar with posting pics. IMO, both forums are excellent and made up of very nice people.
