Hi all,

I just order a nikon closeup lens 62mm for my FZ20.

I will be very happy for suggestion of focus, zoom, distance an spot

for better micro photo.

The zoom can set to 200-300 or more?

The spot can set to spot or not?

The distance can set to 5 cm?

Thanks a lot

HL

Zoom can be full range.

Spot is ok

Distance 5 cm... I don't think so. More like 15/20 cm

and micro = macro :G

Thanks a lot Tim,

now is ok.... I must set to spot, full range of zoom and 15-20 cm from subject.

But spot is better also for all photo without closeup?

Now i use the third options spot center, but spot is the last option on menu.

Bye

HL

Search the forum - using macro, not micro, there are several good posts on this subject. Some of what I learned searching this topic.

You might want to use manual focus instead of auto. Get the focus close as possible with the focus ring, then fine tune by simply moving the camera closer or farther from the subject.
Use high f-stop for better DOF.
Bounce either the internal or an external flash to improve lighting.
Tripod can be helpful.
