what was the zoom on that smac?
looks like you went all the way but it's still sharp ..with out any noise ..

I did do a little processing on this picture. Mostly removing distractions like the twigs. But, I also did a little adjust smart fix, shapening and noise reduction.
Below is the un retouched photo. And if my memory serves it was taken at 24x zoom maybe 36x. But I know it wasen't 48X. The next picture is also un retouched and it is at 48x dzoom.

the blue sky really accents the noise in the pic but that's an aceptable level still looks sharp but not as sharp as the others ..man those birds have some weird looking eyes ..they most have very intense concentration..the hawks i shot in bakersfield know me ..most of them look at me like here comes that nut with the camera..let's go

One of my cheats if the noise is too bad is to sample the sky with the eyedropper and then fill the sky with a solid color that matches the original sky color. :homey:
