i havent had a chance to shoot a panoramic picture of anything interesting so far, but tuesday i was taking pictures of the tennis teams(boys and girls) and decided to try a pano shot with the girls team. three handheld shots stitched with the included ArcSoft software. link is toresized image, original is 4575x1739.let me know your opinion:idea:

and how come the FZ20 doesnt have a proper stitch mode for shooting?:?

I think you did a great job and I feel that is the reason its not done in camera.

thanks. my favorite part of the picture is the reflection on the glasses where you can see the court

i think i did do a good job at it seeing as the original picture was only cropped by about 180 pixels in height when it was done handheld and without help from the camera. my Canon A75 has a very handy stitch mode that makes things simpler, but i guess Panasonic didnt think it was important
