Despite the non sunny day and the position of the bird, it was easy to find some good shots among the 5-6from burst mode.

what was the zoom on that sparrow...looks like full zomm..nice shot ...sparrows are kewl..
ilike sparrows...
they are lots of fun

Thanks to all

Jazz it was 12x zoom (se exif data included).
Anyway it was about 2m from me, I was in the kitchen but with window open.
They know i feed 'em with bread and so they don't fear to get close.
With Tiger it's another matter but he (my cat) is a gentle-cat and would never menace them anyway.
